Captain Mike has been ordained by the UNIVERSAL LIFE CHURCH MONASTERY and can now serve as a wedding officiant. His ordained status now allows him to perform civil service ceremonies.
This can be very helpful for those looking for a simple service without hiring a full-time minister.

Big D Cats is now offering a new cruise: the Water Taxi to Sneaky Pete’s!
Join us for a beautiful evening sail across Lake Lewisville as we ferry you to and from Sneaky Pete’s. Watch the night from a new perspective as you lounge on our huge bean bags. Don’t want to lounge around? You can start the party early and dance to the great music provided by our DJs. We will provide unlimited soft drinks, fruit juices, and bottled water. Chamonix II is a BYOB boat, if you would like to consume alcoholic beverages, you must bring your own.

Enjoy a beautiful and relaxing evening sail under the stars aboard BigDCats’ Chamonix II. Lounge on our huge bean bags and let the entrancing sounds of classical string instruments wash over you. The entertainment for this cruise is provided by the Dallas String Stage, click here to listen to their beautiful sound.
The dinner for this cruise will consist of:
- Smoked Chicken, Sundried Tomato, Carmelized Vidalia Onion and Gouda Cheese Tarts

Salsa and Tango Sail? Sounds to good to pass up, right? We worked with the Chamonix II to get this event together. We have done it before with Salsa (check out the pics on MamboDallas.com) and we are excited to bring in the Argentine Tango crowd as well.
The boat sails at 10:00 PM (so be there at 9:30!) with unlimited free soda, juice and bottled water. It’s BYOB, so bring whatever you like to drink and some to share. The boat will have a machine for frozen margaritas and pina coladas, so feel free to bring some rum and tequila. We will be cruising around Lake Lewisville, dancing into the night! There are bean bags to lounge on and chill.
Music:
We will be playing tango/milogna/vals (both traditional & alt/neo) and salsa with some merengue, cha cha, & bachata thrown in for good measure. (Think of tango tandas with long salsa cortina.)
(Note to tango crowd from Ashiq, if you are registering for the event, could you please send an email to ashiqur@gmail.com. This will help in customizing the playlist for you. Also, do send your song requests.)
Dance Floor:
We will have a custom wooden floor inside the main cabin. Of course, you can dance anywhere on deck in the open air.
This event is limited to 80 people so we have room to dance, so buy your tickets early! Hope to see you there!

Sunset Salsa Sail? Sound to good to pass up, right? We worked together with the Chamonix II to get this event together and we are excited it’s happening-AGAIN. Come wearing all white as it your last chance to do so before Labor Day! We had a great time in July- be sure to check out the pictures.
The boat sails at 7:30 with dinner included, free soda, juice and bottled water. It’s BYOB, so bring whatever you like to drink and some to share. We have a machine for frozen margaritas and pina coladas, so feel free to bring some rum and tequila. We will be playing salsa, merengue and bachata on the sail. Bring your iPod if you have a couple favorite songs! You can dance on deck in the open air or inside the cabin. We will be cruising around Lake Lewisville, dancing into the night! They have bean bags to lounge on while you watch the sun set.
These sails are usually $59, but we got a great rate of $49 for the whole event- dinner included. This event is limited to 60 people so we have room to dance, so buy your tickets early! Hope to see you there! Don’t forget this is your last opportunity to wear all white before Labor Day!
