Charter Agreement
Cancellation Policy: Any payment received will be refunded if the charter is canceled due to rain or unsafe weather conditions at the time and place of the charter. Unsafe weather conditions will be determined solely by the captain. The client shall have the option to receive a full refund of any monies paid or reschedule the charter at a mutually acceptable date. Under no circumstances will Chammonix II Dallas, Ltd., DBA Big D Cats be responsible for charges incurred from caterers, or any other expense or loss related in any way to this reservation or inability to complete this reservation.
Final Payment:
The remaining balance must be paid one week prior to the charter date.
Liability Waiver
All passengers are required to read and sign a liability waiver form
and a copy of the charter rules before the charter departs. Forms are
posted on www.bigdcats.com. We highly recommend that all guests sign the
form prior to arrival at the boat. This will make the boarding
process much quicker and easier.
Safety Rules
Upon arrival a brief orientation and safety instruction will be given. You
and your guests agree to follow all instructions and requests by our staff,
particularly in regards to safety procedures.
You are required and expected to follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws while aboard our vessel.
Alcoholic Beverage Policy (This policy applies to any group that will have persons under 21 years of age and alcoholic beverages on board at the same time).
No one under the age of 21 may consume alcohol aboard the Chamonix II, even if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Upon arrival two people over 21 years of age will be asked to sign an alcohol waiver taking full responsibility for the adherence of our policies and all laws governing alcohol consumption by all other guests. Chamonix II Dallas Ltd., will not permit the use of alcohol by anyone under the age of 21 on any vessel we operate.
If your event is deemed by our staff to hold higher than normal risks, Chamonix II Dallas, Ltd., reserves the right to require the services of a Certified Texas Peace Officer to accompany your charter at your expense. Conditions to this request include but are not limited to the following:
- Fraternity or Sorority Parties
- Speci.c types of charters such as Bachelor or Bachelorette parties
- Charters that include large amounts of alcoholic beverages.
- Charters with minors (under 21) not accompanied by parents or guardians.
- Any charter that the management of Chamonix II Dallas, Ltd., deems a high safety risk for any reason
Fulfillment of this requirement is your responsibility. If you have any reason to believe that your event could fall under any of the above categories it is your responsibility to bring this to our attention. We will make every effort to determine if this expense will be necessary prior to your reservation. However, if you have not given us complete information we reserve the right to cancel your reservation at anytime, even while thevessel is underway. If this occurs no monies will be refunded.
DINING & BEVERAGE SERVICES:
Charter includes unlimited water, fruit juices and soft drinks. We can
cater any type of food you wish, or you can contract with your favorite
caterer. Our preferred caterer is Chef Bill, of Texas Chef.
Alcoholic beverages:
We operate on a BYOB basis. After you purchase the beverages of your
choice, we will load them on the vessel for your consumption.
RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS:
Please make Charter reservations by calling Kerri O'Barr at
214-663-5740. A deposit of 50% (including the additional services
required) is due upon booking of the charter. Payments for our services
may be made online at our Payment Processing page . Deposits for
reservations made more than 90 days in advance must be paid by check.
The balance owed is due four business days before the charter. We are unable to hold charter reservations without a contract and 50% deposit.

receive a full refund of any monies paid or reschedule the charter at a
mutually acceptable date. Otherwise, all payments made are non-refundable.
Damage deposit:
A $1,000.00 damage deposit will be paid upon signing of charter agreement at the discretion of the vessel owner.. This only applies to group charters.
CHARTER PRICING:
- Please download our Package Options Brochure.
- Any charters returning later than 12:30AM are charged a $500.00 crew surcharge.
- Water, juices and soft drinks are included in the charter price.
- Crew and fuel are included in the charter price.
- $250 charge for remote pick-ups/drop offs ( Sneaky Pete's, Cottonwood Creek, Hidden Cove Park ).
